Hello Jon,

Thank you very much. There was no problem with the Money 2005 disc. I
un-installed Money 98 and then installed the 2004 version to do the
conversion after changing the system date to 31 Dec 2004. I un-installed 2004
changed the system date back to present and installed 2005. It worked like a
dream.

Michael, I eventually re-purchased Money 2005 when my bank (Suncorp) updated
their download formats to include and option for OFX files.
Although ANZ still don't and Amex have stuck with QIF, which come fine.

I never had any problem actualling installing it and can't see why you would
have. Perhaps it is a faulty CD?
No matter what you do, make SURE you make a copy your existing money data
file. Otherwise if it does install it will convert the format and you wont
be able to go back.
If you haven't used Money before, then it obviously isn't an issue.
If you have, try uninstalling Money before doing the new install. BUT once
again, make sure you copy your data file FIRST.
I hope this helps......

Regards,
Jon

I am in Australia and I have purchased 2005 and cannot get it to work - I
thought it was a corrupt disc. Is this problem unique to australia.

Okay. So even if I just want to download it (without need for shipment of
actul box), then that wouldn't be possible ? Any idea when the 2006 SB will
be released to international customers ?

I have MS Money 2004 SB and am now trying to update to the 2006 SB version.
However, I live in Denmark and cannot find any of the resellers from the
Microsft site, who can ship internationally. Why is that - is the 2006 SB
version not yet released to international customers, or ?

Good Luck! In Australia this is the version we have. It is STANDARD only,
and between 2004 & 2005 version just about everything online changed and
isn't supported here (or wasn't). Microsoft acrtually refunded my purchase
of 2005 and I reinstalled 2004 which I'm still using.

Unless things have changed - this is a Dead End - so if you get value out
of what you use Mexico - then avoid this......

Default Money for International Users

I currently reside in Mexico, but often relocate to other countries. Is there
a special Money edition for me (ie international edition)?

Thank you,
