| Upgraded 2005 Deluxe Trial edition from 2003 Small business when I changed computers. Been using 2005 Trial for about 45 days without problems. Friday downloaded latest transactions from bank and entered new transactions that haven't come thru the bank yet. No problem. Opened up Money on Tuesday had two checking accounts for the same account. New checking account had about 40 transactions for about the last 25 days. Marked the account as closed then changed the account to closed. Attempted to connect to bank to download transactions and got error "Your account information is being updated. Try again later." I closed Money. Wednesday morning I opened money the new account is back and my old account with the last 4 months of transactions is G-O-N-E gone. I tried to restore backup, salvage, everything I could think of. Today I called M$. They said they don't support the trial version. I guess nobody realized that support is a trial run too. I can't use a product that isn't supported. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to recover the missing account at this point other than buy Quicken, uninstall Money and re-enter, re-balance and re-categorize everything since March 12? Oh, didn't I mention, Money corrupted the backup file too. TIA, Eddie |
