| The DRP in Money is really quite flexible and I think it would meet your needs. It definitely recalculates if you make additional payments and supports introductory interest rates. As for budgeting, no, you can't create a 2 weekly budget, however, you can see daily cash flow over that period, which I think is quite useful -- you can project if you have enough money to pay your bills over any selected period. -- "The Ringer" <florabamalounge[at]hotmail.com> wrote in message news:1121139792.950402.63610[at]g47g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... - quote - > I'm a Money 2005 standard user that's interested in upgrading to 2006 > deluxe if the debt reduction planner does what I think it will do. > There's plenty of online debt reduction calculators that will let me > input debt and a number of months until I want to have it paid off and > then will generate a schedule to get there. | I'm a Money 2005 standard user that's interested in upgrading to 2006 deluxe if the debt reduction planner does what I think it will do. There's plenty of online debt reduction calculators that will let me input debt and a number of months until I want to have it paid off and then will generate a schedule to get there. However, these do not allow for variable interest (as in an introductory rate that changes in so many months) credit cards in the schedule. Also, they don't have a way to recalculate when you make an extra payment without total starting over. Is this something the debt reduction planner will allow for in Money 2006 Deluxe? Also, do the budgeting options let you set up two week budgets rather as well as monthly budgets? Both my wife and I are paid every two weeks so we budget some expenses (groceries, gas, etc) on two weeks while some are monthly (mortgage, insurance, etc). I can't find a way in 2005 standard's budget options to account for this. If anybody knows of a place to get details on money's functionality, that would help, too. The "tours" on MS website don't show much of anything. Thanks in advance! (new google groups user, BTW, hopefully I asked this in the correct place). |
