| I called Bank of America and found that one must have an Advantage Checking account or pay $9.95 per month for the direct access. Guess nothing is free. | Can you give more details. I loaded the 2006 trail version and after it had converted my previous file I attempted to add Bank of America online services. After providing the userid and password I use for online web access it told me that the signin with the financial institution failed. I can still access the BoA using the same credentials. I do not have a passport associated with the account but from what is said on the MS web site that is not required. Since it is a trial version I can not get support from Microsoft. Any help appreciated Art McClinton AMcClinton[at]cox.net Derrick Cole wrote: - quote - > </lurk> Surprise, surprise! > Was playing with the 2006 Trial earlier today, added my BoA checking > account (via "Bank of America (all except CA, ..." or some such). | Thanks for the clarification. So it seems CA, WA and ID are lagging behind!! I'd like to rid myself of third party participation with financials. I guess I'll have to wait until CA catches up. |

| Actually there are "different" BofAs: BofA(All except CA...) DOES now offer direct (OFX) services. BofA(CA) and BofA(WA & ID) still only offer "third party" See: http://www.microsoft.com/money/banko...Type=BanksOnly and click on each BofA entry. -Mark "matt" <mattbytes[at]gmail.com> wrote in message news:1121093368.245674.95010[at]g43g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... - quote - > If you read the policy information, you'll find that this service is > available from a third party (Yodlee) and not BofA itself. | If you read the policy information, you'll find that this service is available from a third party (Yodlee) and not BofA itself. That's my only concern. I'm test driving M2006 from M2004 as well and I'm pretty satisfied with it thus far. I believe BofA statements using Yodlee has been available since M2005. |

| </lurk Surprise, surprise! Was playing with the 2006 Trial earlier today, added my BoA checking account (via "Bank of America (all except CA, ..." or some such). I supplied my web credentials as presumed, but was told "product not activated". So, I followed M2006's suggested link to "get activated" and lo and behold, I am now set up for both direct download and online bill payment! To confirm, I refreshed my BoA online settings in M2004 and again, I can now download direct to where I could only export from the BoA website yesterday. Maybe it's finally time to consider switching to BoA... Fyi... Derrick <lurk |
