| It's conceivable that you could delete all transactions for that stock and then reenter them and it would fix the problem. There are some instances where a specific transaction gets slightly corrupted and deleting it is the best resolution. I'd suggest you try this on a copy of the file, so you can just revert to your master file if you're not happy with the results. -- "J. | I am experiencing the same problem as old john described. Information Pop up window appears with the following message " The stock split could not be completed due to a lack of disk space" I have tried to repair my files using both Quick Repair and Standard Level 2 repair and it does not seem to help. One thing I have noticed is that I can record a stock split for a stock/share where there is no previous history of transactions. Any ideas ? | I believe your file is corrupted. I suggest you make a backup of your file and try using the salvage utility, salv.exe -- details here: http://support.microsoft.com/default...=rss&spid=2351 -- "old john" <oldjohn[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CEA7D309-CF03-4037-BF95-1EEB4D713080[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > I enterred a stock split in the investments on money 2002. | I enterred a stock split in the investments on money 2002. I get a message that there is not enough disk space for the transaction. I have plenty of space on my hard drive. What does this mean and how can it be corrected? Thanks |
