Thanks. I went ahead and did the trial download and install. In some
ways, I'm underwhelmed. Without knowing that it was the 2006 version, I
wouldn't have noticed for about a week or so. There really isn't much
new. The lack of newness could be a very good thing though as hopefully
the Money team focused on fixing existing features and refining parts of
the program. I don't mind Money 05, but it has its bugs and I'd like
them fixed. If 06 is just a big service pack for 05 (which it feels
like) then that might be good enough for me.

That appears to be fixed.

If you try the trial, you can select to not have it uninstall Money
2005, so that both can be run, one at a time. Be alert during
install.

The last-installed is set up with the file associations, so when you
download an OFX or QIF, the last installed gets fed the file. To
feed the file to both, save the file to disk, and do File-> Import to
both. Just clicking a link sends the file to the last-installed.
You could manually adjust the associations, or could reinstall 2005
to reset the associations, if you prefer to remain with Money 2005..
Also, do not have the same Passport on both files.

Default Has 2006 fixed the credit card calculation issue?

In M05 if I have my transactions sorted with the newest on top, the
balance on the right is screwed up. I have to sort with the latest items
on the bottom. Have they fixed this bug in 06? This alone might entice
me to upgrade, although it should have been fixed long ago.
