Default Re: Internet-Based Services Policy

I just read it again today, and it is unsettling. I saw it before, too,
and I somehow wonder if this is their legal fallback position, in case
the encryption or security of the online transactions is compromised
(i.e., 128 bit security is cracked by an eastern european crime
syndicate, etc.). If that ever happened, Money would just one
application on a list of many that was unsafe to use online.

It also applies to the online stock quote update feature ... this would
mean they can discontinue the feature at anytime.

Also, I believe any MS product that provides online updates (Office
updates, OSes, etc.) will have some variation of this statement in the
license agreement.

Default Internet-Based Services Policy

I find this sentence rather interesting. I don't think I'm taking it out of
context.

"Microsoft reserves the right to modify or discontinue these Internet-Based
Services at any time, without notice."
