I have a theory. Perhaps you have a cash account associated with the
account. I think that is usually a good idea. However if you do not
enter transactions that represent the funds coming in, the cash
account would show a negative balance. That in turn would reduce the
value of the whole account by that amount. Would that explain
things, or not?

Default My 401(k) Balance in Money isn't accurate...

Hope someone can help here.

I am using Money 2004.

I see a wrong total in my "portfolio" when I look at my 401(k).

Maybe I am inputting info wrong?

I see all my funds (several mutuals) in my 401(k). But my "total account
value" is not the actual value in my total 401(k). Money seems to be giving
me the DIFFERENCE between my "contributions" to the fund and the amount the
fund has grown.

Isn't there a way to show both? Or do I have to add the two to always get
my REAL account value?

I hope this makes sense.

Bob
