Don't know if this helps at all, but I was having the exact same problem.
Couldn't find ANYTHING online that helped. However, I do have Stardock
products on my machine including their WindowsFX program. While this
program is pretty sweet in terms of providing eye candy, it has caused
problems with several programs that I have so on a hunch I added the
Money2006.exe to the exclusions list in the WindowsFX configuration
settings and lo and behold, my charts now show up practically
immediately!!

As I said, I don't know if this helps at all - but I figured I'd post in
case this is the problem you're having.

I downloaded the trial version of Money 2006. Any screen that has a "loading"
component is either taking a really long time to complete or is not
completing at all.

For example, the charts on the Home page take a really long time to show the
graphic. This includes the Cash Flow Forecast, Income and Expenses, Spending
by Category and the Debt Reduction Plan components.

Also, I cannot run any Spending by Category or Monthly Income and Expenses,
Income and Expenses report that is not a monthly report. I cannot run these
reports with a date range beyond the Last 3 Months. The Annual Report did not
complete over night. I'll try running them on another computer.

I am running this on a Dell GX260 2.0 GHz, 2 GB of ram, GeForce FX 5200
(video bios version 4.34.20.22.c6, ForceWare version 71.89)
