Default Re: unable to transfer 2004 money data to another comp with 2003 money

You can always go forward (M04 to M05). You can never go backwards
(M04 to M03).

By the way, 2006 is the newest version of Money. Newer versions
convert your old data file so make sure you keep a back up of the old
file (just in case).

Regards,
JB

If you want to pass Money files back and forth between computers,
both have to be running the same vintage.

Default unable to transfer 2004 money data to another comp with 2003 money

I would like to know if there is a way to transfer my 2004 money data to
another computor which has 2003 money? When I try it doesn't work. Is the
only option to upgrade the 2003 money to the newest edtion? and then if I do
that; what will happen when i need to transfer my 2004 money data to the new
2005 money? Remember this is 2 seperate computors with 2 different microsoft
money editions.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated!
the computor i am currently using/sending this e-mail on is not the computor
I have a problem with.
