Default Re: Error downloading bank statement

Sorry for the delay in thanking you Cal! I've had my brother and his wife
here (Canada) from Scotland on vacation.

Nothing seemed to work, so I saved my Money file, deleted Money,
reinstalled it and it worked fine on the second attempt.

Thanks again.

My new sig line was created by a chap on a Scottish ng because he
constantly ribs me about OE and I won't give it up

First, I would close Money. Then, in Internet Explorer I would
delete your browser temporary files with
Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles. You might want to decrease
the size of the Tools-> InternetOptions-> Settings Amount of disk
space to use to perhaps 50MB with dialup or 20 MB with broadband.

If that does not do it, you might look at the action here
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;141267 tho
it is not quite the same symptom.

Default Error downloading bank statement

I recently bought MS Money 2005. My accounts from Money 2003 are all
nicely in place, but when I go to download my bank statements I get the
following message...

"C:\Documents and Settings\Helen Ramsay\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\U1TY76XO\accountactivity[2].ofx is not a valid Win32
application"

This was never a problem with Money 2003 or 2001. Help!
