I suspect MS Money people frequent this board quite often. The suggestions
and requests from some of the most knowledgeable and dedicated users, many
who are regular posters on this board, have fallen on deaf ears for years. I
wouldn't be too optimistic about them taking users requests very seriously
let alone implementing them in the software.

Email them to mswish[at]microsoft.com

If for whatever reason it's not accepted, post the response here please.

Understood... so perhaps now is the time to put in my suggestions on the
wish list links. Even so, there's some usability problems I'm having that
could be considered bugs... they're really not working the way the manual or
help file says they should.

Thanks for the info.

Tom.

yes.

Yes, though if it's really a suggestion, it's more likely to be considered
for a future version. Beta testing is usually about finding "showstopper"
bugs, but the feature set of the current release at that stage is already
fixed. This usually applies to all products, not only Money and not only
Microsoft.

Microsoft allows anyone to fill out a "potential tester request" on
their site beta.microsoft.com. You could try filling it out and saying
you're interested. I'm in the program and the only thing MS has me
test is boring web server-related stuff, but you might have better
luck.

Default Beta Testing...

I see 06 is coming out early this year, release on Tuesday. Instead of
coming here to look for bug workarounds and missing or unintuitive
features... or whining about how bad the software is, maybe I can help make
it better.

How would one get on the list to test '07? Is it worth the time and effort
to test and provide input? Do the folks at MS listen and impliment bug fixes
and usability suggestions?

Thanks,

Tom.
