Default Re: Categories in reverse order...

I tried playing with it a little more (maybe for the millionth time in the
last year). I had a new idea, tried it a couple times and it seemed to work.

Get the report settings the way you want. If sorted Z > A, go to the
"Customize..." box, select "Subtotal > none", click OK. Click on the
category heading, it then sorts by category forward and reverse. Leave in
order A > Z. Then go back to "Customize..." and only select, "Subtotal category". It seems to stay in the same order, A > Z.

I wonder if this bug is fixed in 06... what a pain! I'm thinking if outside
chance it is, there's probably more than one new one to take its place.

You might try Reset of the report.

Clicking the Category column does something when I try it, but I
can't figure out what.

Default Categories in reverse order...

In reports > Transactions by Category > (Select Accounts and Categories) Rows and Columns Tab, select Subtotal by Categories > click ok...

The categories come out in reverse alphabetical order. I can't figure a way
to get them to put the categories, A up top, Z at the bottom.

Anyone have an idea or solution?

I tried clicking on the Category column. The little arrow moves from up to
down, but the report doesn't change. This does work for date and payee,
though.

UGGH!

Thanks

Tom
