In doing backups, it is a good idea to not continually overwrite

Here is my suggested backup strategy for Money 2005:
In [M05: Tools-> Settings-> BackupOptions]
I suggest checking
x Automatically backup to hard disk on exit
x Prompt me before backing up each time*
x Make my file small ...

Then periodically, perhaps once per month or more, copy your
latest backup (named differently from your earlier backups) to a
CDR. With XP, this can be a copy and paste operation. Otherwise
use the burning software that came with your CDR drive.

I strongly suggest use of a USB Flash drive also, in addition to
backing up to your hard drive. They typically act like a big
floppy. For a more automated way to make multiple backups, see

* This has two advantages. You can change the file name
occasionally. I like to pick a name something like money050611.
Then it is easy to change the name to have multiple backups. The
..mbf extension is automatic. The other advantage is that you can
choose "Don't Back Up, or you change your mind about exiting by
simply clicking the X in the upper right of the pop-up box.

Over the last several days, I have noticed a new problem with my M05 file. I
download transactions from the bank, review them, editing as necessary, then,
"Accept" them. When I close out that M05 session, I always back-up to my
hard drive and a floppy. The problem is that, when I re-open M05 the next
time, those transactions that I previously "Accepted" are still showing as
needing review. In other words, it appears as though my 'Save' isnt'
working. I am currently creating an additional back-up floppy, but, i
wondered if this is a known problem, and, how to remedy it?

Also, in reading the Archives of this board, I found a note from a user that
stated that WinXP has a 'built-in' that will allow me to save my M05 file to
a CD in addition to the floppy. Is this true? If so, where do I find
documentation on that? I cannot locate it, anywhere.
