| The Microsoft lady was wrong but that does not surprise me. Your bank account does not need to be linked with any online bank for it to transfer or synchronize information with a Pocket PC. First of all, make sure that your Pocket PC version is compatible with the Microsoft Money version. You should be using the Pocket PC 2004 if you are using Microsoft Money 2004, etc. Now make sure that Microsoft Money appears in ActiveSync. If it doesn't, you should uninstall Microsoft Money Pocket PC and reinstall it. Single click on Microsoft Money with in ActiveSync and then click the settings button. It is from from this screen that you will be able to select the accounts that you want to synchronize with the Pocket PC version of Microsoft Money. One hint: ActiveSync automatically selects all of your investment accounts and unless you have a large Pocket PC memory, I would suggest to you deselect all of your investment accounts so they do not clutter up your Pocket PC. I found mine operating quite slowly because all of my investments were being brought down to the Pocket PC. | So what the Microsoft lady is telling you is that if you manually enter transactions, Money for PocketPC is utterly useless? That's not passing a reasonableness test here.
