Glad to hear you got there!

Money is heavily regionalised and when upgrading you must stay within
region, so International > International is OK but International > US is
not.

dear bob

thank you for your prompt reply. in the meantime i managed to solve the
problem by installing the international trial version. to be on the safe end
i installed first 2004 and then 2005 money internation trial. and it works!

Did you get any error messages? For example something to do with
incompatible version?

i have several files in money 2002 and installed money 2005 trial but it was
unable to convert the older files. therefore i uninstalled the programm and
installed money 2004 trial with the same result. it was unable to convert the
older files.

could you kindly explain how i have ot proceed in order to upgrade to the
latest trial version?
