Import it into the Citicard account as a *statement*. Money 2003 or Money 2004 should recognize the transactions that match existing transactions and add the new ones. Don't download an OFX file from the web after regular download, or you will get duplicates. Money will say it found a match, even for the transactions that were not there before. I don't know why. Just accept. If this does not work for you, File-> Restore should undo it. Or just find the missing transaction(s) and enter manually. It is probably the first transaction(s) for the most recent statement. At least it was in my case. - quote - > "Michael Opton" <michaelopton[at]attbi.com> wrote in message > news:0a2f01c36605$173c18f0$a101280a[at]phx.gbl... > > I recently noticed that the transaction total (amount > > owed) didn't match the balance amount owed in my credit > > card account. > > > After comparing the Citibank online statement to the > > Money downloaded statement (I'm using the Citibank > > services which are updated when I log on), I've found > > there are transactions missing. | Citi has always been really bad with the datalink. If you use their web download for ccard or checking accounts, it is REALLY bad - I used to dload weekly, and typicaly the omissions were on pasted on the date when I did the d'load. I tried to time my download for weekends, it reduced the errors, but did not eliminate it. Then I switched from Citi online (web download only) to citicards.com, because from there Money can get the data automatically in the background - but only once a month, when a statement is posted. For a few months it worked perfectly, now, for the last two months I found 1-2 charges on the paper statement that did not make it in the download. Citi just can't get it right .... :-( "Michael Opton" <michaelopton[at]attbi.com> wrote in message news:0a2f01c36605$173c18f0$a101280a[at]phx.gbl... - quote - > I recently noticed that the transaction total (amount > owed) didn't match the balance amount owed in my credit > card account. > After comparing the Citibank online statement to the > Money downloaded statement (I'm using the Citibank > services which are updated when I log on), I've found > there are transactions missing. | I recently noticed that the transaction total (amount owed) didn't match the balance amount owed in my credit card account. After comparing the Citibank online statement to the Money downloaded statement (I'm using the Citibank services which are updated when I log on), I've found there are transactions missing. These transactions must then be entered in manually to get the statements to match. I was hoping that this would be one process I didn't have to double check, but alas, it's more work than when you could just grab the statement from Citibank and upload it all at once. Any other fellow sufferers? |
