Merging brokerage accounts

This will take at least 6 months, and they may keep separate
accounts indefinitely.

That would not be my preference. There is a process of moving the
holdings of one investment account to another. But don't get ahead
of reality.

Ameritrade and TD Waterhouse are in the process of merging into
one brokerage company. I have active accounts with both firms,
but will now have to merge these into one account. How do I do
this in MS Money 2005? Do I have to close both original accounts
out then open a new combined account? Is there some simpler way
to just merge the existing data into one consolidated account?
