| It appears that you are familiar with the capability of the invoice designer and so it should come as no surprise to you that the answer is no, what you see is what you get as far as available fields to include in the template. I gave up on the use of the invoice designer and use a custom-designed template in Excel that I made. It works much better and has more functionality than the invoice designer. I am surprised that Microsoft has not considered just allowing users to access an Excel template and transfer the information directly from Microsoft money into Excel. |

This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that clear and may have misdirected you here. It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the subject of your question. You should find people better able to address your problem there. Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question. -- Joseph Meehan Dia duit |

| Invoices - I was hoping SB 2005 would have a much improved invoice designer. It looks and acts like SB 2003 <*sigh*> and is relatively useless in its current form. And during the upgrade from 2003 -> 2005 it deleted all my custom invoice templates. In my case, I would like to print the date of a specific item on a service invoice as I bill for different services on different dates for my clients. Is there any way to tweak Money 2005 Invoice Designer to add additional field(s) to the "Customize Invoice Item List" function of the invoice designer? I would be willing to manually add date items if I could just get a "custom" field on the invoice list. Any ideas? Thanks in advance... Steve |
