The short answer is that payments to your credit card (exclusive of interest charges) are not "Expenses" they are cash flow. You had the Expense the day you used the card for Food  iningOut. Money budgets THAT since that's where you can control the spending. The Transfer to the Credit Card account is cashflow--moving money from one pocket to the other. Expense make you poorer and Income makes you richer. | Setting up a Budget Hope one of you folks can help. I am trying to set up the budget feature and in the expense I can not seem to see the catagory for credit cards. I have been doing a transfer to the cc account so the cats appear similar to transfer: [cc account name], i have also tried changing the payents so the catagory is credit card: [cc account name] Thanks Steve |
