Hi Brian,

Did as you suggested (wouldn't install in safe mode so followed your
instructions for normal startup) but still got the same problem. I just
can't understand this one?

Brian,

Did as you suggested (wouldn't install in safe mode so installed to

still get the same error. I just can't understand this!

It's come down to the point where I'd like to rip the application out and
re-install it. Heres the way that works.

Uninstall Money 2001
Run MNYCLEN1.EXE to completely get rid of money 2001
Delete the c:\program Files\Microsoft Money folder (Make sure your money
file isn't in here)

Money updates come through fine! I don't connect to any other service
through Money, got IE 6 with all latest updates.

So it sounds like we definately have this down to being computer specific.
Are you able to receive Money Updates? Do you have any banks that you
connect to? Are you able to connect to them?

What version of Internet Explorer do you have? If it's not IE 6 SP1, why
don't you go out and download that.....Money relies heavily on IE.
