Use Tools: Find and Replace to edit all of them to a generic name like
'Pioneer'. All recorded variations will then be associated with that name
and remember the last category used.

Tools: Options: Online Services: 'Show standardized payee names...' will
help some. You can't make the system recognize all instances of 'Pioneer*,
but it will remove numeric identifiers which usually accomplishes almost the
same thing.

Also, look into Preferred Payee Names and Payee Rules Manager on the Payees
page.

pioneers usually come up with no category and one "Pioneer #75

something so that every time a payee has the word "Pioneer" it'll use
the default category of Gasoline?
