| Sounds like Money is somehow being started with the operating system. I do not recall any mention of any options such as 'start money when the operating system starts' (But then I don't have Ver 2000 to look at). Look in this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup to see if there is a shortcut to Money.exe or to your Money file. If yes, just delete the shortcut. Also, substitute the other folder names for 'All Users' in the above, such as "Administrator", "Default User", and the user name you log in as. If there are no relevant shortcuts in any of the folders, reply back and we'll look elsewhere. aaronep[at]pacbell.net wrote: - quote - > I have Windows XP, Msft Money Vsn 2000. | I have Windows XP, Msft Money Vsn 2000. Recently, whenever Windows XP is booted up, the opening screen of Msft Money is displayed in front of the 2/3's of the XP desktop screen. I am able to X it out and continue using other programs. How do I prevent Money from booting up like this when the Computer is first turned on and the Windows Desktop screen appears? best, Aaron |
