I get an unable to connect with update server error - words to that effect.
Are you doing this through the watch account in the investor section of the
program?

I'll guess that Money 2000's time has expired for getting online quotes.

Take a look at http://www.umpmfaq.info/faq.html#Q120 - Also look for
your End User License Agreement, (sometimes a text file named EULA.txt,
in some Money folder)
