| Yes, Citibank Australia has OFX statements to download according to their site. They don't offer direct banking, so you have to go to the site to download the files. -- "JT" <jt[at]hotmail.com> wrote in message news:ODDpORhgFHA.684[at]TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... - quote - > Did Citibank Australia say this? | Did Citibank Australia say this? The Australia Citibank told me no. The only bank I know that is going to do it is The Bank of Queensland - which will launch it in early 2006 - I am told. | is that it caters for the Australian taxation rules, so you know more about your personal tax situations~ But even that we don't know if it would be updated to follow any latest changes in the Australian Taxation Law... Sigh... if not for this, wouldn't we all buy just american delux version which has much more features than a standard international... (we'll have to manually download and import bank statement either way anywayz) thanks for the help Glyn~ Hope people will make better informed decisions when they see these postings~ The new google groups can reach this forum~ ![]() "Glyn Simpson, MVP" wrote: - quote - > You can use the option to say the bank isn't listed (well, you will have to > use that unless you have one of the ones that it gives you from South > America). | You can use the option to say the bank isn't listed (well, you will have to use that unless you have one of the ones that it gives you from South America). However, you can still download from any Australian banks that do support one way statement downloading. This is normally from their websites. The only option to talk to anyone would be to phone the support people - the International version is basically the US version with loads of stuff taken out and a few token banks thrown in. Virtually no additional work on it is done, and certainly nothing done in the Australian region as far as I know. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://money.mvps.org/faq for tips and fixes for MS Money. | Hi guys, I've seen a few posting here about the online banking facility in money 2005. I bought this International Edition from dick smith Australia for 60 bucks (AUD), and when I install at home, I did select Australia when the installation started. And when i try to add bank accounts, it pops up all the south american banks... =_=, for credit card account and investment account there's only Millennium BCP which is a portugese bank... This doesn't look right... And in another thread created by Jez, answered by Glyn Simpson, MVP, i can see the same problem occuring. It maybe that no australian banks support direct statement downloading into money 2005, but hey, It's just not right that south american banks come up .... and I suspect there are some major errors when they building this international edition with australian, and other countries online banking invovled. And as for the UK edition, there are banks that support money integration, just look at here http://money.msn.co.uk/MyMoney/Micro...st/default.asp in particular Nationwide Building Society http://www.nationwide.co.uk 01 Apr 2004 Statements (See Note 2) OFX Nationwide Building Society supports background online banking which is really what we are after. And that's what money has been claiming... (auto downloading of statement) So... Is there any microsoft people we can call or talk to? coz i know microsoft australia doesn't really have the people that knows how it is, since all the development work is done in USA. I mean we should convey this problem to microsoft because as I described above, it's just not right... |
