thx.

I guess I will try creating another money file without passport. If that
works, I will export the data from the old one.

If you don't put a Passport on your file, Money does not put your
file onto the web server.

Thanks for trying
I did try getting the download for ms money 2005 from that abc mc but I
found I had better luck with quicken albeit I have to change its date
format by vbscript. If only I can get the script to do the download and
pass to the Money on its own, it would be terrific.

You see, I don't use ms money online and unfortunately some Money 2005
setting are totally disabled when offline. I wish Microsoft don't make it
this way. Instead they should let user have a option. I don't like having
my account info on the web, least some gang hack into some website ( that is
quite possible with some motivated and highly skilled criminals from some
parts of the world).

If the folks would make the Money be totally disconnected from the web, I
would have used it more

Changing financial institution is not an option due to compelling benefits
there.

OFX and OFC are different, although they look similar.

Try making a copy of the quicken .

Date format difference are normally a problem associated with QIF.
So I am guessing you mean QIF for "Quicken" format rather than QFX--
a modification of the OFX format. OFC does not have transaction IDs,
I think.

Sing script??? Perhaps you are referring to knowing about a script
that will flip the date format in a QIF file, and you don't want to
bother to use it? Fixing things would require you to use such a
script, or changing the computer date format whenever you handle the
QIF that is in a different format than the FI uses, or changing FIs.

Default money 2005

I am having problem with download received by money 2005 from a bank of
mine. If I use quicken format It will complain form data format does not
match the format on money file. If I use money 2005 format available form
the bank, it says it cant load (...eh I forgot the exact wording) . It
turns out if I save the file instead of opening the money 2005 format
download, the bank sends me a .ofc file that look very much .ofx file to me

I am having troubles with setting the format of money 2005 because I have 3
financial institutions using different settings and My pc has been set to
using yyyy.mm.dd format as most of my work demands that.

Further complicates the problem, one of the credit card issuer and two
accounts with a bank are similar ( eg. abc bank and abc mc) with
different website.. I tried treating them as separate institutions and
actually sign on manually to abc mc to download instead. The only way I
could get it work is saving the quicken format download and use script to
transform the date before import. I have done that for the earliest
statement before it becomes unavailable in next few days

downloading and sing script was quite an annoyance. Is there a better way?
