I doubt that's the explanation; I don't see the issue and I use
"unregistered" banks.

Having the same problem.

Is this because the bank isn't registered with Microsoft Money?

You probably need to find/set the setting for AutoComplete somewhere in
Tool|Options or (M05) Tools|Settings. I don't have a way handy at the moment
to tell you exactly where.

Default Recurring Categories

Hi there,

Have a question about one thing in Money that's driving me nuts. I
shop mostly in the same places every month and when I get my statements
into Microsoft Money I have to assign categories to the vendors anew.
To give you an example: Sheetz Inc shows up on my Amex as Unassigned
every month. So every time I update Amex account I have to go and find
all the Sheetz Inc and change them from Unassigned to Automotive. Is
there a way to "train" money to do this automatically?

Thanks
