Default Re: HELP! - password protection!!

It's my pleasure!

If you don't want to upgrade to Money 2005, it's possible to export all of
the files to QIF and then import them to Money 2000. This is probably too
time consuming to mess with if you have multiple currency accounts or many
investment transactions. Also, you should be aware that only the account
registers can be reverted -- input to planners, home inventory, etc., can't
be reverted.

Instructions are here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/178830/

Since you are able to open other files, this indicates a problem with your
file. My advice is to download the Money 2005 Deluxe Trial and see if it is
able to fix your file. More recent versions of Money have more robust file
repair utilities and it's possible that the newer Money will be able to open
your file.

Also check the other suggestions at the Unofficial Money FAQ:
