| Cal, I tried that already... The disk is completely gone! Pictures of my baby, and all... Anyway, I was trying another way: I installed the MS money for pocket PC, and I as trying to sincronize with it, and hopefully get the acoutn setup data from it. Do you know if that can be done? Now, today when trying to install the Money 2003 for pocket pc ( I have Money 2003 in my desktop) I got the message: "it does not appear that you have MS Money installed in your desktop..." ??? I do have it installed! how can I make the installer recognize it??? Thanks, Luis "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, luis wrote: > > I recently had a computer crash and the hard drive is gone... > > Luckily (I thought) I had a old Money back up file that I hoped would get me > > back up and running, but I could not restore this file because every time I > > tried I got the message "Please insert the next backup disk (The disk > > containing file "My Money Backup d2.mbf)"... Unfortunately the first disk contains a file named *d1.mbf. | I recently had a computer crash and the hard drive is gone... Luckily (I thought) I had a old Money back up file that I hoped would get me back up and running, but I could not restore this file because every time I tried I got the message "Please insert the next backup disk (The disk containing file "My Money Backup d2.mbf)"... But I saved the file in a memory card, and I was never asked to input another card/disk, so this is the only file I have... Now I have a backup file that won't work! Any solutions? Thanks, Luis |
