Default Re: Question re: popup investment list

In Money 2005 (it might be the same in other versions), in the Investment
window, click on Work with Investments on the left panel and then choose
Delete. A window will come up with the list of investment names and you can
select which ones to delete.

That is what I thought you were trying to achieve.

While things differ with versions, the "delete" hides the stock from
lists including the drop-down list you are thinking of.

Guess I didn't explain the problem clearly.

When entering an investment transaction, it asks for the name of the
investment with a popup list. It is this list that I want to edit. It
has many old items that need to be deleted.

Go to the details of the investment that you do not hold, and blank
the symbol. Then "delete" the investment.

If you cannot delete the investment, delete the transactions in the
Investment Activities for the investment, starting with the oldest.
When the transactions are gone, you should be able to "Delete" the
investment.

Default Question re: popup investment list

My popup investments list now contains many old items that I would
like to remove. I cannot find any way of doing this. Suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
