Create a new file without a passport (Decline) or open sample.mny. If that works, the problem would appear to not be the installation. Continue with this: Tools-> Settings-> ProgramSettings and set the (GeneralDisplay StartMoneyWithThisPageOpen:Accoun tListOpen the problem file. Then Tools-> Settings-> HomePageDisplayOptions and Remove the Investment Performance module. There has been a problem where a lot of investments triggers a crash upon opening where Money opens to the "Home Page". |

| I'm running Windows 2000. I think I may have to try a reinstall. The way you described is exactly how I began using an existing Money file after my laptop was rebuilt. It's still kind of strange, as I've been using different Money versions for the past few years and this was the first time I've seen it happen. -- Cory "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Cal Learner-- MVP wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, Cory wrote: > > > > I was just using the app the other day and now it won't load by either using > > > the shortcut to the app or opening the Money file itself. Allow the reinstalled Money to create a new empty file with a different name. Decline Passport. Let the update occur so that you again have version 14.0.125.1105 after the install. Then File-> Open your actual Money file. |

| I was just using the app the other day and now it won't load by either using the shortcut to the app or opening the Money file itself. It starts to load, but then shuts down unexpectedly without an error. Has anyone else seen this before? Is this a bug? -- Cory |
