An argument for using VMWare or Microsoft Virtual PC?

You can apply here.

If MS like the look of you they "may" invite you to become a future beta
tester.

It is not recommended that one tests betas on the same PC as you use for
production work. Betas have been known to completely foul up a PC
necessitating reload of Windows etc etc so beware!

Hi Glyn,

Is it easy to get into beta testing for this product (assuming it can run
concurrently with a production system)?

Frank, as regards buying Money 2005 or not buying it, it seems to me
that since you've already waited half a year into the update why spend
$30 now. In September you can probably buy a revised Money 2006. The
key question you need to ask yourself is why you use the product? If it
is to manage your personal finances, then it is a good product provided
you do most of the data entry manually and are able to "think thru"
what you are doing. If you rely on Money to provide automatic data
input via downloads from your bank or credit card without understanding
what the data is really doing inside of Money, then you are wasteing
your time and money in using the product IMHO. Good luck. Steve

There have been two upgrades (although one made it with the release). There
was the 0825 update which was available when Money was released, but the
major update was the 1105 update which fixed a number of other problems (and
made changes to the Money file too). On the server side there have been some
updates to.

Nothing since the 1105 update on the client side.

Default Has M05 updates fixed previous problems?

Hello,

I have been holding off jumping to M05 from M04 because of the problems
reported on this forum.

What is the current position of Microsoft regarding fixing these problems?
Has there been upgrades?

Thanks

Frank
