| Glad to hear that. Until you are "convinced" that all is well I suggest you implement a rigorous backup regime, perhaps using your hard disk and backing up to a different file name every day! -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. | Thanks, Bob. I had searched previously and it's not present. ... But, problem solved! I ran Money "Quick File Repair" for about the fifth time in the past four days, and it fixed the problem this time. Go figure. ... thanks to everyone for their help. | Chris, thanks for replying. Not sure how to do this ... looked in Money help and couldn't find the topic ... there is no sample.mny file in my program file folder, as the Money user guide says there should be, and I couldn't find anything about it in the MS knowledge bank ... Can you advise what I would do here that might help? Thanks. | Did you try to update MS Money using the sample data file? | When I launched Money 2005, it could not find my data file, which was indeed missing from its proper folder. I was able to successfully restore from the backup. All appeared well. Now, one of the five accounts in my Account List will not open. When I click on the problem account in the Account List, the screen simply refreshes and returns to the Account List Screen. All other accounts open correctly. I tried repairing the data file. Money said their were no problems to repair, but the one account still will not open. Restoring again from the backup does not solve, either. I need the information in this account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
