| One sold position shows N/A for TR Wk and TR 4Wk in Return Calculations View only. Interesting that the Sold Position does not appear at all in all Views. I succeeded in the method I will describe in an instance, but that does not mean it will work for you. It seems worth a try. If you do try this, please let us know the outcome. View the portfolio grouped by account. In the problem account, there will be one or more securities that you still hold that show N/A for Total Annualized Return (Ann. Ret). Ideally there will be just one. Click the [+] to expand to show the transactions. Right-click the oldest Sell and select Void. Accept warnings. If the Ann.Ret still shows N/A, void the next-oldest Sell. Continue until that security no longer shows N/A. Unvoid that last Sell that you voided. Note that the Ann.Ret again says N/A. Click Edit for that transaction. Delete the last digit of the Total, and reenter it. Save that transaction. If that did not fix it, try the same with other aspects of the transaction. If you are rid of the N/A, hooray. If not, dang. Unvoid each voided Sell and do the same process. If it does not work, you could try the Buy transactions as you did with the Sells. When you have each of the securities that you hold to not say N/A, I anticipate the NA for the account to go away. Again, please let us know if it helps or not. |

| If this account contains a number of investments, then you could create a custom view containing just this investment account and it's investments. Then, remove each investment in turn until you find the one which is causing the problem. That would help narrow it down a little. Looking for add shares/remove shares is a good thing, but also look for purchases with a zero amount of shares. Also, change the view to exclude watch accounts - does that make any difference? -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny or http://money.mvps.org/faq for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | I have 5 accounts in Microsoft Money 2005 Deluxe Version -14.0.120.1105 all of which display the percentage of Annualized Return in Portfolio Manager View with exception of one account that continually displays N/A as the percentage of Annualized Return. I have carefully scrutinized all entries for abnormal entries such as Add or Remove shares, abnormal dates, etc. and do not have any. The Performance by Investment Type Report shows an Annual Percent Return of (0) zero but shows a % Rate of return of 121.6 with a positive Return for Period. Can you please suggest a solution to my problem? Re-entering all transactions in this account would be a monumental task. |
