| I also have Money SB 2005. What exactly are the problems? I just set it up but haven't used it yet with my clients. Would like to know before I invest all my time into it. If you could go into details, that would be good. I also got a trial version of Simply Accounting, could this be better? | Chris I know its not much consolidation but after filing my complaint with the BBB I got a message from Microsoft and they are going to return my money even though its been over thirty days. Before my complaint they had refused to refund my money because of the age of the program. It is obvious from some of my emails I received that they know there is not a fix for all these problems anytime soon. So you might give it a try too. Good luck. | Yeah, I noticed later that he asked the same question over and over again. I know it is a free call to MS but the one time that I called, was on hold forever and they finally said they would have some contact me later. By that time, I figured out the issue myself by using this newsgroups and google. So I can see the reason to call MS as suggested but I also see the reason why people don't. -- Rick Faria - MCSE / A+ RDF Technical Services - www.rdfts.com Email: support at rdfts dot com "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message news:71i841hgih3uq2sp288mvnglb3i7nfv32i[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Rick F wrote: > > I think what they are all yelling about is Chris should search the > > newsgroups before posting. | Concerning Chris "multiple" questions about printing Estimate on an Invoice, I found a copy of Money 2004 SB and it also does NOT print "Estimate". So, Chris, which version of Money did? | Very few people use the * Business editions of Money. Worse, they are disproportionately under-represented amongst people who try to help others here in the NG. That's the way it is. Cal can't change that. Cal has answered more questions in this newsgroup for longer than anyone. He's forgotten more about Money (in general, I don't think he'd claim to know much of anything about the * Business editions) than most of us are ever likely to know. I'm not sure where you get off, but I'll certainly remember your name should you come asking for help. He didn't argue with Mr. Jones, he merely tried to point out that more posts on the same topic wouldn't change the fact that nobody reading knew the answer or was willing to reply. Some of us actually do read all of the posts in order to help our fellow users, attitudes like yours notwithstanding. Posting multiple posts on the exact same topic just wastes everybody's time and energy. By the way, I love the bit about turning the Better Business Bureau loose on Microsoft over Money. That's really funny. It's kinda like turning one flea loose in Antarctica hoping it'll find a dog to annoy. | Chris a word of advise, Bite the bullet and remove 2005 from your computer. You will get no help here or anywhere else on this screwed up program. I don't know who this Cal Lerner fellow is but it is quiet obvious he knows nothing about this program. He is only here to argue with people. That is to make up for his lack of knowledge. I finally got tired of trying to get help with this. It caused very serious issues with our small business records. After getting absolutely know help from Microsoft or anyone else I finally have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. I guess I have had enough. I have been fighting this since January with the 2005 Small Business program. And when you come into this site to get information, you are interrupted by this Cal Person and a battle starts instead. He doesn't open his mouth too much without something sarcastic coming from it. Maybe if enough of us turn them in to the Better Business Bureau they will make sure the software programs they put out on the market will have no bug issues. I don't work for Microsoft, and I am not a facilitator/moderator.However I do have some contact with Microsoft thru the MVP program, and I try to be helpful usually. It was not clear that Chris understood that all five of his repeated question were getting thru, and then it was not clear that he understood that this is a peer to peer group. |
