In my opinion, this is the key to making MS Money work properly.
Passport is bad. Yodlee is worse. Avoid them!

There are still many finanacial institutions that you can connect with
MS Money, WITHOUT using Passport or Yodlee. Perhaps some of your
accounts are held at these f.i.'s?

Thanks

Sorry you feel that way. I've had the symptoms you describe go away with
frequent "quick repairs."

I'm not happy with Money 2005 but I don't see any better choice. Tried
Quicken 2005 and it's worse. There's just things I've learned not to do. I
don't use a Passport attached to my file. I go to each of my accounts
separate websites and download transactions and statements from some and
ensure that my MSN Bill transactions (which I use to pay all accounts) are
successful. It's workflow I'd rather avoid in light of the happy glowing
language written on the Money box of the Information Week review of the
software. A man's got to know his limitations and I guess, I have to learn
those in financial software.

Default I've had enough of Money 2005

Ok, today was my finale with MS Money..

MS2005 Premium struck big and struck hard with a crash that even my backup
file couldn't fix at first. After many file renamings, I got it to work. I
don't know if there's been a recent patch or behind the scenes update, but
something has broken. My bank statement closed out Friday, so I reconciled
it, save the backup in 3 different places and uninstalled it.

It's gradually gotten slower over the last month and last week, it took 5
minutes average to record one debit expense-and I had 4 of them. It has
closed unexpectedly alot more recently. Sorry, I'm ranting but it is
ridiculous to have a piece of software made by the same company that makes
the OS and it operate this sluggishly and buggily. No, it's not my
processor, memory, computer configuration, internet speed, ISP, salv.exe
issue, or any other dumb question I may be asked about that has nothing to
do with what has been a trend lately...get this program out annually and
don't fix anything much.

And yes, it is running the same on two different computers...slow!

So, I've dusted off my Money Matters Deluxe for another go around. I prefer
envelope budgeting and I almost had it figured out within the MS Money
budget how to do that. Ugh!!!
