| I get a pulldown menu with two choices: Question and General Comment. I wonder if you have scripting or active content or similar disabled in your browser? A better way to get to the newsgroup may the old-fashioned way: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.money. It would appear that Microsoft has taken another U-turn, or at least a right turn, with regard to the newsgroups. There is no link to them on the Money support pages. There is no link visible on the top support page without pulling out menus on the left. When you go to post/reply, it requires, of all things, a Passport login. It asks for you to edit a profile, the link to which is 404. They also have you accepting terms of use. For a Usenet newsgroup. Apparently they've added a reply notification feature--either this was the excuse or the reason for Passport-ification, I'd bet. What's up with all of that??? Too many of us gadflies here who will not just shamelessly promote whatever Microsoft does? | Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm lost. This is my first time here and I'm pretty computer illiterate. I try to start a new thread (by clicking on the icon of the document that says "New" next to it, to ask a question, but I get this little symbol of a red circle with a line through it. Can you help? Thanks. | OS: Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition No errors, but Active Sync displays MS Money on my new pocket pc, but continues to synchronize about 3-6 times, before it finally stops and completes synchronizing. I'm wondering if downloading MS Money 2005 for the Pocket PC would fix the problem, without paying for MS Money 2005 for my desktop. Also, wondering if I'd be able to have it work at all? Microsoft, isn't supplying me with any solutions. |
