You might also consider making a copy of your .mny file under a different name, and, if you are not using Passport features, File-> PasswordManager-> Change-> DisableMoney'sPassportFeatures. |

because it's not setup for online services. For some reason Money keeps> Select the account, and then select Stop Using Online Services. I tried that, but "Stop Using Online Services" is not there. Probably associating this account with the wrong bank. Even when I manually change it. I tried to set up online services for this bank before. I selected a bank and found out it was the wrong bank and my bank doesn't offer online services. So I canceled it. Now the bank I selected that was the wrong one, Money keeps associating that account to it. |

| My bank does not have online services setup for it. When I go to "Manage Online Services" my bank is listed under the column that says "these banks do not provide automatic online updates". When I look at the list of accounts, this bank has a lightning bolt beside it. This means that it is set up for online services. And it keeps changing the account info to the wrong bank. How do I cancel the online services for this bank? |

| I tried what you said. It changes those too. My bank is Commercial of PA (in Pennsylvania). I type in the URL and it works until I close and restart money. Then when I try it, money changes the URL to another bank, Commercial Bank and Trust (in Georgia). I don't use Online services with this account. I go to the bank website and download my transactions into Money. I just cannot get the correct URL to stay! | JAD, Short of not using online services there is no way of getting your bank from changing the bank info you entered. However, when you go to the Money page where you enter the contact info there is a link on the left hand side to update advanced web settings. These fields provide entry of alternate url's for specific pages on your bank's site. While online updates can sometimes overwrite some or all of these you can experiment to see if entering the page you want sticks. Keep in mind that in order to connect to these pages you need to go to the top menu bar and select Favorites--> Favorite Web Sites--> Your Banks--> [choose institution here]--> [choose desired page here]. Can I ask however what you mean by wrong website? Does it take you to a different page with your bank OR an unrelated page altogether? If it is the former, before entering contact info on the advanced settings page use the Favorites menu selections described previously and see if your bank automatically enters the page you want under one of the advanced fields. If the latter, contact your bank. Hope this helps. Regards, JB JAD wrote: - quote - > Everytime I set the contact info for my bank from the "change account > settings" page, it changes on it's own. | Everytime I set the contact info for my bank from the "change account settings" page, it changes on it's own. I put in the address, web page, phone number, etc. Then the next time I use money it all goes back to the wrong info. Then when I choose "connect to bank" on the left of the account register page, it goes to the wrong website. Is there a way to get Money to stop changing my bank info automatically? I'm using Money 2005. Thanks |
