In my case, I believe I have traced the problem to running Microsoft
ActiveSync to sync the money between my PC and PocketPC. I find that if
I go to the trouble to unplug the connection then Money will exit
properly. I don't know if this is the only thing to cause the problem.

Hi GreyTop, I just want you to know you are not alone with this. I am
having a similar problem but with the trial version of Money 2005. (see my
message Money 2005 trial does not open)

Hopefully someone will answer soon and both of our problems will be solved,
since they are so similar.

Default Monry already running HELP

I started MS Money this morning and it told me that it was already
running.
I did a remove and re install and that did not correct the problem
along with some other option that have been post in the group none of
the above worked for me.
I had a backup image of the drive and did a restore from the latest
image. That did not do it either. I did another image restore back
from before I ran money the last time and it worked. I did have to
restore several things hat was made after that restore.
My question is what is causing this if anyone out there knows?
What is the correct proven correction method?
