| Glyn, I have since solved the problem of loans by reentering them into new file. The hassle is that you need to find out the balance as of the end of last year. Now onto the other accounts. Thanks for your suggestions. | You could try a report and see if you can export them as XML or CSV. However, importing them may be more tricky. Perhaps you should recreate the loan in the new file (change the system date to allow you to do so) and then enter the transactions through bills/deposits. Reset the date and compare the loan history. A bit more long winded but may be your best way. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny or http://money.mvps.org/faq for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | Any suggestions on how I can get my loan accounts into another file without rebuilding them? From memory this was not an issue with Quicken, but I could be wrong. Thanks. | Yes , someone knows. No, it isn't possible. That's why they aren't shown. Another reason QIF isn't all it's cracked up to be. | Does anyone know if it is possible to export loan type accounts for use in another money file? When I use the Export feature, the account selection dialog box does not list my loan accounts. |
