| I thought this might be an appropriate place to throw out this question even though it's not directly related to MS Money since I've found some of the long time posters here to be very knowledgeable about electronic transactions with financial institutions. I am interested in writing software that acts as an OFX client to financial institutions, much like Money and Quicken. After reading the OFX specification it appears any software that conforms to the specification should be able to talk to an institution's public OFX servers. Is that a correct assumption, or are the servers configured to reject requests unless they are coming from Money, Quicken, etc. If so OFX would not appear to be an "open" standard. Thank you |
