It should not be a problem, but always keep a backup copy of your data
in a safe place.

Default Re: Upgrading Money

Provided their country still has an upgrade path, most Money users upgrade
successfully.

Money 2005, though, is something I will not recommend. See
http://umpmfaq.info/Money2005.htm for why. YMMV.

As to the general question of "to upgrade or not?"
http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=174 tries to capture the trades here.

Default Upgrading Money

I am currently using Money99 and want to upgrade but am afraid that a
six-year jump in versions might cause me to have problems like, heaven
forbid, loose data.
I've looked but can find nothing addressing this.
Anyone know if this upgrade is just something I should forget?
