Thanks guys -- the Passport thing did the trick (after a few dozen
tries) - the problem is its updating files in the background yet you
have no clue and this only happens after you sign in using passport.
The typical update progress thing is not available while this is
happening ....

.... in short they seriously need to work on that portion of the
procedure.

I just purchased Money 2005 Standard today. I got it home, installed it and
realized that one of my favorite old features was not included in Standard.
Anyhow a message popped up after a while asking if I would like to upgrade, I
did - I plugged in my .net password, credit card and address info and finally
got a download page. I downloaded a file that was named webinst.exe -
installed it (it asked me to remove Money first) and now when I start up the
program it tells me its the Trial Edition .... what went wrong? My card has
been charged ... is there a page that will let me re-downloaded the exe ?
while I still have the original I kinda want to have another look. I also do
not have any email from Microsoft confirming the purchase yet so no links ...

Please help. Just give me URLs and my .net account should get me in.
