| Thanks guys -- the Passport thing did the trick (after a few dozen tries) - the problem is its updating files in the background yet you have no clue and this only happens after you sign in using passport. The typical update progress thing is not available while this is happening .... .... in short they seriously need to work on that portion of the procedure. |

You can create a File-> NewFile and put the passport that you used> realized that one of my favorite old features was not included in Standard. > Anyhow a message popped up after a while asking if I would like to upgrade, I > did - I plugged in my .net password, credit card and address info and finally > got a download page. Open Money and switch back to your real file by selecting it from the bottom of the File menu. |

| You must login, from Money, using the Passport you used to buy the upgrade. Next time just buy the CD. Many fewer ways to fail. I am guessing you should have received an Activation key. Likely via> it and realized that one of my favorite old features was not included > in Standard. That key needs to be entered into the program to un-lock it. -- Joseph Meehan 26 + 6 = 1 It's Irish Math |

| I just purchased Money 2005 Standard today. I got it home, installed it and realized that one of my favorite old features was not included in Standard. Anyhow a message popped up after a while asking if I would like to upgrade, I did - I plugged in my .net password, credit card and address info and finally got a download page. I downloaded a file that was named webinst.exe - installed it (it asked me to remove Money first) and now when I start up the program it tells me its the Trial Edition .... what went wrong? My card has been charged ... is there a page that will let me re-downloaded the exe ? while I still have the original I kinda want to have another look. I also do not have any email from Microsoft confirming the purchase yet so no links ... Please help. Just give me URLs and my .net account should get me in. |
