Brad,

I do not use a Small Business program. However, it occurs to me that if you
are starting afresh from an accounting point of view, you would open an
account to reflect inventory and effectively incorporate the $26,000.00 as
the starting balance, just as you would do with all the other accounts,
which form part of your balance sheet. Thereafter, entries to the account
would be Transfers and not relative directly to Income.

I hope this may be of some help.

Default inventory shows as income

I just set up MS Money Small Business 2004. When I enter in my
Inventory,($26,000.00 worth), it shows up as Income on my balance sheet. This
incorrect accounting. How can I correct this?

Thanks

Brad
