I tried backing up to a USB Compact Flash card because the drive shows up in
MS Money as a "Floppy". It worked once then gave me problems. Explorer kept
crashing when I tried to open the drive. Tried it with a different CF card
only to have same thing happen. Don't rely on it as your only copy!

It should work. Performance may suffer. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to
the file and double-click on it. (Or use Money File|Open.) Money will try to
open it from there the next time you start the application.

Default Storage on USB

I currently run Money on my home PC with files stored on hard drive. I'd like
the convenience of also having it on my work laptop. Can I store the main
files on a USB drive and just pop that in every time I run money at home or
at work ?. I assume the backup files have ALL the info and it should work
seamlessly.

How do I change the default location for files or do I just move them onto
the USB drive and it'll prompt me for teher new location next time I start
money?

I will still keep backups on the home pc and on CD
