| Thanks for the responses? Called Wells Fargo support. The tech through a couple of swithes at her end and presto, WF billpay appeared in managing on-line services. Works find now. For what its worth, I did try to cancel on-line services then re-set up but to no avail. Not sure why had to call or what the tech did. | Have you disabled MSN Bill Pay within Money? Try disabling both MSN Bill Pay and your Wells Fargo online services within Money and then re-enable Wells Fargo's online services. -Mark "tbsteph" <tbsteph[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0446A3E2-D366-4F86-B71B-7714ECB1AB99[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Thanks for taking the time to post. > Yes, Wells Fargo does support billpay through/within Money. | I agree the documentation is poor. Since I never used MSN billpay at all, I didn't have this problem. I'm sorry that I can't help more. tbsteph wrote: - quote - > Thanks for taking the time to post. > Yes, Wells Fargo does support billpay through/within Money. | Thanks for taking the time to post. Yes, Wells Fargo does support billpay through/within Money. When I click on the option to pay a bill via epay the MSN Billpay screen still shows up. I have contacted the bank to see if they have a solution. I am still amazed MS does not document this process at all, at least anywhere I have looked. | I should also say that once the bill pay is listed under services for a bank, you will be able to select epay as a method of payment when doing a bill payment in Money. Then Money will send the payment to your bank when you hit Send. I currently do this with Wachovia and have done it with Netbank in the past. But both banks write that they offer bill pay direct through Microsoft Money. cpembert...[at]hotmail.com wrote: - quote - > As far as I know, there is no setup you can do to enable direct bill > pay with another service through Microsoft Money. | As far as I know, there is no setup you can do to enable direct bill pay with another service through Microsoft Money. If your bank offers direct bill pay through Microsoft Money, it will be listed under the services for that bank once the online setup for the bank has been completed. This is how it works for banks such as Wachovia and Netbank that offer bill pay through Microsoft Money. Is it possible that Wells Fargo offers online bill pay but NOT direct bill pay through Microsoft Money? tbsteph wrote: - quote - > I'm trying to change from MSN billpay to Wells Fargo on-line billpay. > I have cancelled MSN Billpay and updated linking checking account on-line > services to go directly through WF. | I'm trying to change from MSN billpay to Wells Fargo on-line billpay. I have cancelled MSN Billpay and updated linking checking account on-line services to go directly through WF. I have set-up on-line billpay with WF and have a password. However, in the updating/changing on-line services within money the only option for online billpay is MSN. Where/how do I initiate the change in Money to access WF online billpay? I have looked through this newsgroup, help within money and there is hardly a word on how to change bill pay services. Seems like this would be a relatively common situation that deserves at least some ink somewhere (Not in the on-line money manual either. Using Money 2005 Premium. Thanks, |
