Default RE: No Updates on Capital One

Well I guess I spoke to soon. I can no longer get ANY updates. Well I can
add this to my long list of screw ups in the program.

I use the advance register.
I manually input all of my data into Money. I like to download for the
website to compare(in case I forget something). I DO know how to use my
head. Thank you very much. And I know that this is just a tool.

Thanks for being rude!

Cindy & Feisty,
You guys are really missing the point if you use
the essential mode in Money 2005. You're best bet is to just forget
using Money. You expect Money to do all the work for you automatically
because you don't know how to manage your personal finances by using
your own abilities. (ie)Your own head. Instead you somehow think a
computer program has all the answers. IT IS A TOOL to help you manage.
That is all it is. If you hear the word YODLEE mentioned, you are in
real trouble. Anyway, good luck. Steve.

Cindy I am able to to get updates from Capital One almost daily but my
problem is This 2005 program sometimes starts up with my account information
missing.
Are you trying to set up your accounts in the essential mode. If not do
that. That is how I had to do it to get it to work.

I am having that same problem. And some days when I open up my Money program
some of the Online Accounts are missing all together. This 2005 program has
been the biggest headache of my life. My reports don't work either. The
money program shuts down completely if I try to use them.

I am using 2005 so that must be the problem, right after I updated was the
last time I got any updates. Great.

Thanks

Cindy

Capital One states on its website that Money '05 is not supported. You can't
even download manually from the website into '05.

Perhaps your version is one that has reached its "expiration date."

In the version I use, Money 04, neither Capital One nor Providian supports
online banking services. In '05, it may work using the Yodlee/MSN stuff, but
that may be more painful than it's worth. Some users report success and
satisfaction.

Cindy,
I've been updating and confirming my Capital One credit card
with Money for a couple of years now. Problem is (as far as you're
concerned) I do it manually every day. I enter all my transactions in
Money and then reconcil with Capital One over the phone. Works like a
charm. Good luck. Steve

Default No Updates on Capital One

Has anyone else been unable to update Capital One and Providian credit
cards? If so, what did you to start updating again? My stopped updating 14
days ago.

TIA
