| Yeah its also SHUTTING DOWN. Are you just on here to try to argue or try to help find solutions to all these problems. If that is all your here for please don't waste my time. I don't have that much spare time from trying to find a Money 2005 solution. Now after Tax Season I will be more than happy to get on here and spar with you if that is all your here for but right now I just don't have the time. The reality is that there is seldom a good reason to respond to a vent. The person you responded to fixed his problem. I don't use the Business version. I don't work for Microsoft. |

| I never said my program shuts down right after its opened. The person I responded to said that. I said my problem is that Money shuts down constantly. No perticular time. And I have never even seen a monthly report in the program. IMPOSSIBLE. And I don't know what your problem is to accuse me of posting false information but I certainly do not appreciate it. I have been using Money every since 1997. Every year a new update was purchased. I have no reason to come in here other than to share my issues and to try to find someone else with the same issues that I have. Which by the way I found plenty other people in here with either the same exact issues are one which is close. As is the one I responded to on this thread. FYI, I have tried the quick fix, the standard fix, uninstalling, reinstalling and nothing has worked. So far today I have tried probably no less than 20 times to get into a monthly report and cannot. I have even sat here with pen in hand writing down the long error report that I am given so I can try to look it up myself online since non of the Microsoft people will help all of us with these issues. Maybe we can be fortunate enough to run across another user on here that has figured out how to fix it on his own. Until then I would not recommend this sorry program to anyone. And I am sorry if you don't like that but instead of being on here accusing me of being less than honest you might get off and see if you can find a fix for all these problems if you don't like hearing the complaints in the first place. | And another thing, do you know how to view the monthly reports without the whole program shutting down. I sure don't. It is impossible to do that, much less to be able to print them out for the accountant. And this is Money Small Business. So right now the company taxes are on hold because Money 2005 won't let us access our data. | Well I don't know if you work at microsoft or not but it can very well be verified through them how much trouble this program has been. All the way down to them sending me a new one that wasn't any better. ONLY after the tech support guy lost all of my data because he did not do his experiments in the safe mode. Then telling me when he was done that he was sorry that he is not actually Money specialist, that he was simply a microsoft in generalsupport person. I could tell you just how aweful the support was on these issues but that would take longer than the 6 hours straight of being on the phone with them till the wee hours of the morning while they were trying everything to get back all of my data that they lost. | I recently converted everything from Money 2004 to Money 2005 and the program just freezes. I can't do anything. As soon as the opening page opens, the entire program stops responding. The only way to shut it down after that is to use the task manager. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Brad. |
