| If you've recreated the investment account again, could you delete the investment account (as opposed to just the single transaction), or change the investment account to not have an associated cash account (rename the account, the option is on that part). -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny or http://money.mvps.org/faq for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | Thank you, that got rid of the error message. But it did not get rid of the rogue transaction. Is there anyway to get rid of that? | You'll need to reset the lifetime planner to fix this one. See http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/141.aspx and/or http://money.mvps.org/patches.aspx for a fix. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny or http://money.mvps.org/faq for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | When I opened my 2004 Money file, I got the following error: "Money is not able to load some or all of Financial Planner data. HRESULT=0x8004621a" I did all the standard fixes; backing up, improt/export QIF, repair file, etc. Nothing seemed to work. Then I started looking for any bad transactions, and I found one. In the cash account associated with an investment (Ameritrade), there is a transaction that says "Transfer to: Ameritrade" as the category. On that day I did buy some shares, but I recorded it via the downloaded statement. Now when I try to go to the cash account, Money crashes and restarts. I can only look at the transaction from a report, but I cannot make any changes. I' have been able to rebuild the investment account under a new name, so I want to delete the old investment account. But I cannot because I cannot delete the cash tranasaction. Any ideas??? |
