Sync between two computers ?

Sorry, I don't have any specific advice to offer on this, except to keep
backups!

OK. Here's another question, then: I just lost ALL payees on Pocket PC,
and synced it back to my Money file.. fortunately, I was able to revert
to the backup.

Could anyone tell me (1) why would it happen and (2) how to avoid this
in the future ?
